Keynote: Vibe Coding and AI-Driven Software Development
KI-Afterwork, Wirtschaftskammer Tirol, Innsbruck
28 April 2026

At the KI-Afterwork hosted by the Wirtschaftskammer Tirol, I gave a keynote on how AI-driven development is changing the way software is built, prototyped, and brought into business practice. The talk focused on the shift from software development as a specialist-led, resource-heavy process toward a more accessible model where domain experts can translate their understanding of real business problems into working prototypes with the support of AI.

The keynote explored how “vibe coding” and AI-assisted development can shorten innovation cycles, enable faster MVP creation, and make custom software development more accessible for SMEs. At the same time, I emphasized the difference between a working prototype and a production-ready system, highlighting the continued importance of software architecture, security, data protection, stability, and GDPR compliance.

The session was held together with Fabian Jenewein and framed around concrete entrepreneurial use cases, including how AI-driven development can help SMEs build internal tools, automate analysis, and test new digital solutions faster. The evening also featured contributions and discussions with Rafael Pauley and Philipp Schulz.
